About us
746 Lightning Hawk Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron serves the Fraser Valley as one of British Columbia's best Air Cadet squadrons. With close to 140 cadets, 8 Canadian Forces Officers, and a complete Parent Sponsoring Committee, the squadron offers youth aged 12 to 18 an extremely interactive and beneficial training program centered around aviation, leadership, survival training, range, drill and citizenship.

Most importantly, Air Cadets focuses on social development, decision-making and leadership. As cadets acquire skills and knowledge, they pass it along to younger cadets. Every cadet will have the chance to participate in flight activities, and some top senior cadets may even earn a scholarship to obtain their private pilot’s licence. Whether earning a glider pilot licence or private pilot licence, these cadets wear their wings with a pride rarely found in today’s youth.

746 Lightning Hawk is a proud associate of: The Township of Langley, The City of Langley, The Langley Municipal Airport, The Canadian Museum of Flight, The Adopt-A-Street Program, and The Langley and Cloverdale Legions.
The Squadron meets most Thursday nights between Sept and May from 1830 - 2130 hrs. Please confirm dates on our calendar.
