Normally biathlon is a ski and shoot sport; however, this year's competition will only be run and shoot. Cadet will need to run 1.5km then shoot, run 1.5km more than shoot, the 1.5km to finish the race. Competition will be In Richmond on 6 Apr.
Cadet who wish to participate in biathlon will be asked to practice running on their own time, Ideally 5km three times a week.
As s Sqn, we have participated in the Ski and shoot competitions, this will be our first year participating in the run and shoot competition.
Our first practice will be this Sunday for cadets who have shot the air rifle this year. This practice will be open to 10 Cadets. This will be a test run for us.
I am also looking for a few support cadets to help with time keeping, scoring, and helping on the range.

Dress: Running gear, with running shoes. We will be running rain or shine.
