Hello Cadets, nominations will be held for the Lord Strathcona Cadet Medal of Excellence and the Royal Canadian Legion Cadet Medal of Excellence.
Nominations shall be emailed to OCdt Foster at Dylan.Foster@cadets.gc.ca.
All nominations shall be submitted by Wednesday, Mar 5th at 2359 PST.

Cadets may not nominate themselves.
The recipient must have a comprehensive knowledge of the activities of the
Cadet/JCR Program and must meet the following requirements:
a. display a high level of physical fitness;
b. have completed three years as a cadet/JCR;
c. have completed all requirements of their corps/sqn/patrol training program in the year of nomination; and
d. be regarded by peers and supervisors as exemplifying the model cadet/JCR (dress, drill and deportment).
The criteria for the selection of individual cadets require that they fulfill the following conditions through three years of cadet training:
a. have fulfilled all requirements of the corps/squadron training program to achieve their qualification level;
b. have participated in at least three community service events, in addition to the corps/squadron supported programs;
c. must be seen by peers and superiors to exemplify the model cadet and enhance the status of their corps/squadron by:
i. co-operation with peers and superiors;
ii. comradeship;
iii. promotion of goodwill and morale within the corps/squadron;
iv. supporting and assisting corps/squadron members; and
v. enhancing the image of cadets in the local community.
